Treo - Synchronize more than 100 previous emails ??

I need to bring down more than the last 100 emails in the Exchange inbox to the Treo (Treo defaults to the previous 100 emails on first synch with a new device). I once called a customer support line, Goodlink I think, and the tech had me go into some funky programming mode that allowed me to determine the number of previous emails to pull down. He said this programming mode was only known to certain folks. Unfortunately, I cannot find the directions and I am apparently not eligible for Good tech support.

Does anyone know how to enter this special programming mode on the treo? Otherwise, is there a more obvious way of doing this that I might be missing? (I unfortunately have a hosting provider instead of my own goodlink server).

If I ever find info on this programming and its related commands I promise to post a FAQ.
