When I attempt to sync with Outlook 2003 (local pst store), everything goes well, the checkmarks flash by on the items to sync (Contacts, Calendar, Inbox, etc...), which make it "feel" like its syncronizing, but no data appears on the Treo when it syncs with this one particular computer. When it is done, the green Activesync symbol has a white exclamation mark contained in a red circle, imposed on top of it. Nothing happens when you click on it, but I thought that might help.
I first tried to get it to sync with an Exchange partnership, which failed. I was later informed that it failed because it was an Exchange 2000 server, and this device will only sync with an Exchange 2003 store. It is my belief that there is something left behind after we uninstall Activesync (either in the registry or in the file system), so that when I reinstall Activesync, it is not a clean installation.
I have uninstalled, rebooted, deleted partnerships, and reinstalled several times. We have also tried the repair function, and even creating a new pst file. I am looking for complete uninstallation instructions that remove all traces of Activesync, or any other logical solutions that might fix this problem.
This device syncs fine on another identical computer, so the device itself is good.

Please always take the time to backup important data and verify that backup, before making any changes suggested.
