I've recently had a customer who had lost their PRI circuit and of course BT said it was the PBX at fault.
I went to site with my trend tester and I was unable to bring the circuit into service. I could see Layer 1 up but not Layer 2.
BT eventually came to site and connected their tester to the circuit and it worked, although the first 3 channels didn't come up.
To setup the Trend I pressed hotkeys and then selected TE- Slave.
In the ISDN setup, Emulation:
Protocol = ETSI
Access_Type = PRI
Mode = TE
L2 Protocol = Slave.
ISDN Setup, Termination = 120 Ohms
ISDN Setup, Encoding = A-law
ISDN Setup, CRC4 = On.
So does anybody know how to set up a Trend Aurora Duet for testing on a BT PRI circuit?? Have I missed anything out or configured in-correctly??
Cheers
Glimma
