You could also look into existing objects at places like Aspin.com
Also you could do a search and find a recent (past month or so) post I answered on TreeViews where I actually posted a couple re-useable objects to make TreeViews like the ones in my FAQ.
As far as the end user adding and deleting nodes, I didn't have anything in the code to handle that but you could probably add it in if you built a simple script to build your treeview and added more javascript an some buttons and such. Again, there are probably server-side components out there that will havethis functionality already.
