TreeView node selection question

Is there any way to programtically select a node in a TreeView when you display it?

Here is why I ask.

I set up a Treeview of our menu options. Then when you pick a node it displays a seperate TreeView with the new options in it. When you leave that screen and go back to the start I want to open the TreeView up where it was when the user selected the node and have that node selected. I hope these ramblings make sense.

Thank you to anyone who can give me some help on this subject.
