Treeview expand and navigate to another page

hi. i'm working on a small project and followed the microsoft asp.net tutorial. my problem is that i have a treeview and a web.sitemapdatasource that work perfect exept one thing: when i click on a parent node i want to go to a diferent page and expand the treeview so it can show the child nodes. the problem is that it navigates to the specific page but i can seam to expand the childnode's.. i've searched the web but no luck.. Using asp.net 2.0 visual studio 2005 express and C# language... can someone help?
