Tree Structure in report 1

Hi,
When I create a report the tree / drop down links are open by default and even when I open it , the default values come overlapping the given by user.
The version is 10.0 .
is htere anyway we can set the tree structure on the left hand side using preferences or options?.

During design of the report you can specify File->Report Options->Create Group Tree to enable/disable this.

The user can also select the Tree icon from withion CE to turn it off.
