Tray Selection with a LaserJet 4050

Hi All,


I have a department that is printing from OS 10 to the LaserJet 4050 and needs to have 2, (count 'em, 2), different types of letterhead in all 3 trays. Trays 2 and 3 have the same type of letter head and are set for plain. I wish to set tray 1 as letterhead so when they print with the different letterhead from their Mac's the printer knows to go to tray 1. Unfortunately, the only selections i have for tray 1 is "FIRST" or "CASSETTE."
How do I set tray 1 for Letterhead? Or if you have any ideas, I would really appreciate them as the fate of the free world is at stake

Thats a driver thing... The driver will tell the computer that the printer has more then one tray....

are you sure you have the latest mac drivers for that printer?

If your program will let you print to preprinted then you could have tray 1 a preprinted. The PC program need to be set to preprinted also.

Guys,

you are 1000% percent correct!! Plus, they are running this app on OS 9, I forgot. I just picked the train from the app and it printed out the letterhead.

Before this job, I have only worked with Mac and that was when system 6 was just released.
