Tray icon missing after Explorer crash (how to fix)

I've written an application which resides in notification area aka tray (something like Daemon Tools). Now, if the Explorer crashes and the restarts, the icon of my application is missing in the tray (however, for exapmle, Norton AntiVirus icon is still there), but the application itself is still running. My question is how to keep the icon in the tray. Code appreciated.

I've noticed this with other apps. I'm wondering if Norton isn't detecting the shutdown and restart of explorer and restart, too.
