Trash can deleted

Hi,

By accident I deleted the trash can. I can only create a short cut but it is not a "dynamic icon" (It does not show if the trash is full).

how can I bring it back.

Right-click the desktop and click 'Personalize'. Click 'Change desktop icons'. Check the box next to 'Recycle Bin' under the 'Desktop Icon Settings' and click OK.

I was pointing the shortcut and changed the icon. It does not work

What does not work? Are you saying that you followd IllogicallyLogical's directions & you received some kind of error?

It is still a shortcut and it not a "dynamic icon".
