I am confused with this mib traps and all

Can anybody help me to build a framework to overcome this?

For example How to "read" CRC error counter in cisco 1750 router?
I want to build a step by step guide to do this in it's every aspects.From browsing cisco.com to getting traps.
If you can start a conversation on this It's a real help for me.
