I've been unsuccessful searching Google and Tek-Tips for an answer because I haven't been able to figure out the right search terms to get what I'm looking for.

I'm in the initial design stages for a new intranet CF site that will be displaying data from an Oracle db. We want to detect ORA errors and route db requests to our alternate database. Not exactly rocket science. The part I'm trying to determine is how do I tell when an exception in a cftry block is an ORA error?

Thanks in advance.

Dev: CFMX 6.1 & Oracle 9i
Production: CF Enterprise 9 * Oracle 9i (b/u: Oracle 10g)

Thanks! That's the jump off point I needed! Have a star for making my search so much easier.
