Trap Messages

Hi,
I am trying to get custom messages on TNG Event Console. The messages are from Brocade silkwork 3000 Series. I am getting all OID's in the Console. I need info abt how to give custom messages and also i need info abt how to load a mib into this event console.

Hello, the MIBs can be placed in to TNG\SCHEMA\INCLUDED and will be used by OBJECTVIEW and MIBBROWSE also the same MIBS can be placed in TNG\SERVICES\CONFIG\MIBS and will be use by AT (AGENT TECHNOLOGY).

To start the load, please put the MIBS in a right place and run a clean_sadmin.

This procedure run the install_mibs batch file loading the MIBS.

The best way to know the MIB is reading the documentation provided by the manufactor of the device.

If you not have the documentation call the manufactor to request a MIBS' documentation because is very hard to do anything without docs.
