Transtalk Issue....
Transtalk 9031 cordless was tested in our lab on a test 308 R6 processor. Functioned to OEM specs and had good range and quality of signal ... button mapping was "P" for Partner.
Transtalk was taken to customer's office and connected to their Partner 308 R6 processor .... it immediately shows on the LCd display - CHANGE BUTTON MAPPING. The only mapping type it will accept and work properly is "D" for Definity 2 wire digital port??? Take it back to the lab ... won't duplicate...
Also - when an incoming call rings ... the 9031 handset has a high squeal ringtone .... not matter where the handet is in the building - 5 ft from the radio mod or 300 ft ... it still squeals on incoming call.
We have been selling and repairing Avaya Transtalks for 15 years and have never ran across this one.
