Transtalk 9040 Problem

I have a Transtalk 9040 on a Partner Plus 4.1 phone system. When a call comes into the transtalk extension and is not answered, it will beep and show the handset icon on the display. Does anyone know how to make the beep stop without making the lines no ring. Thanks!!!
