Please help me get my picture's transperancy background to work. I spent about 40 minutes masking and cleaning the surrounding area and now I can't get the picture to print and the surrounding area to be transperant. Either the subject in the pix is clear or the surrounding is clear with the subject red ... go figure? Any help is appreciated!

How did you mask the pix? With a path? If so you will need to create a mask from the path. With the path tool selected, you will see the create mask from path button. Hit it then do a control C to copy the image. Then go to edit / paste, you will see (new from clipboard) click it. You should have a new image with your background transparent. Save and import into Draw or Paint.
