I've searched the archives for a solution, but I can't find one that matches my problem. I've got a page that has a gradient background. I'd like to include a logo that has some transparency, but when I place the image, there is a light blue sheen over the image.

What I've had to do is create an image of the logo where the background gradient matches the background gradient exactly. This is not the best solution, since the logo may be moved around the page from time to time. Can someone point me in the right direction? I've read a few replies that say to match the background of your page to the matte setting (or something like that) in the image, but what do you do when the background is more than one (or two or three) colors? thanks!

Did you save the PNG with 'save for web'? Is the blue sheen appearing when you place the PNG in the webpage? Can you give us a screenshot?

Moe: It could have been a real ugly situation, but luckily I managed to shoot him in the spine.
