Transparent EditBox is all white???

Hi all,

I have a graphic of a piece of wrinkled paper as my background on a small form. I have an EditBox that I want the user to enter text into. When the editBox is not selected the text is black on the background picture (looks cool!) but when the EditBox is in focus the background of the edit box shows white.(looks horrible)
I have themes off, backstype is 0, specialeffect = 1.

Am I missing something else?

It may be that the edit box is incapable of being transparent when it's in focus.
You could always try setting the backstyle property in the GotFocus event and see if that makes a difference.
