Transparent Backgrounds with Video

Hello,

I'm shooting a Video Green Screen Project.

I use AVID as my video editing software.

When I import a video I made into flash 8 I do know how to make the background transparent with the WMODE transparent options so that it shows the html images in the background.

What I can't figure out is how to import a video so that it ONLY shows the video outline of "lets say" a person that I shot against a green screen.

What I would like to know is how does one replace a green screen background in a video with a transparant background? I need the background to be transparent (replace the green)I almost need to be able to use some kind of chroma key with flash.

Could be wrong but think you would need After Effects (or something similar) to get rid of the background color, before importing it into Flash, or outputing to .swf from After Effects.

old is right. Flash does not offer chroma keying, so you need to process your video before you import it to Flash. I'm sure you can do chroma key in Avid.
