Hello

I have text on a white background in an image and wish to "lift" the text from the background and paste it elsewhere. I think this is called making the background transparent.

How may I do this in CorelPhoto Paint (8)?

Thnaks a lot!

This is very easy, one way is:
a) choose "colour mask.
b) click on the background. (or one of the letters if you prefer; if you do this omit stage c).
c) invert mask.
d) create object from selection. et voila! Do what you like with it.

Hello Max

very many thanks for your reply.
I have been trying to sort this out for ages (using the Corel Help files), but could never manage it.

I'll try what you suggest!

Thanks again for your time.

Best wishes
