I need to create an image in Corel Draw 12 or Macromedia Fireworks MX which has text, and has a transparent background. I place it in Dreaweaver MX 2004 but when I'm previewing it in Internet Explorer 6 it doesn't show a transparent background but a solid color different from the one on the page.
I tried several image formats but it won't do with IE.

One thing, it works fine with Opera 7....

Any Ideas?
Thanks!

your page or page object has a backround color that is not recognised in Opera...so it "looks" like it should.
show/check your code...
