I have ip trunking between IPO and Definity, i already select the "send name", "send number" and "send connected number", but i can't look the name of the Definity's users on the IPO's stations when they dial to the Definity's stations...

When Definity's stations dials to the IPO's stations the name and number appears without problem.

Do I have to select something more?

What shortcode,s do you use to dail the stations of the definity.
Normaly it wil send the number and name of the station.
But with the shortcode,s you can overwrite this.

SC: 8xxx
TN: 8NJS"Name or Number"
Line:IP-Trunk

SC: 8xxx
TN: 8NJW
Line IP-Trunk

S send al calls with the same number or name.
W will witheld name and number.

Ohh, I think you missunderstood...

The name of the IPO's users appears fine, the problem is the name of the Definity's users on the IPO's displays when IPO's users dial.

Yes i got the same problem, when i dail i dont see the name and when the call is answerd i see the name on my station. I didnt had the time yet to look at it.
I dont now if this can work.
Sombody ?

big70,

unfortunately, no way to make it work. that's because sending destination name/number function requires qsig supplementary services and ipo doesn't support it. so even if you have full qsig opened on the definity side, you can't use it.

Thank you Dwalin saves mee time to check this out.
I don,t have a problem with it and my clients also.

Cut'n'paste crazy but this is what QSIG IP Office is supposed to support across trunks (including IP trunks).

IP Office Release supports the following QSIG services across digital and IP connections:
• Message Waiting Lamp Signalling
• Calling Name Identity Presentation (CNIP)
• Connected Name Identification (CONP)
• Basic Call Setup
• Calling Line Identification Presentation
• Connected Line Identification Presentation (CLIP)
• Connected Line Identification Presentation (COLP)
• Desk-to-Desk Dialing
• Call Hold
• Call Transfer

IP Office fully supports the following QSIG features:

Basic Call (QSIG-BC) as defined by Q.931, ECMA-142/143, EN 300 171/172, ISO/IEC 11574/11572 and H.225.0

Identification Supplementary Services - Calling and Connected Number Transport (ISSD or SS-CLIP, SS-COLP and SS-CLIR) as defined by ECMA-148, EN 300 173, ISO/IEC 14136 and H.450.8

Generic Functional Procedures (QSIG-GF) as defined by ECMA-165, ETS 300 239,ISO/IEC 11582 and H.450.1

IP Office supports the following services, as required for the implementation of specific functionality of device interoperability:

Calling/Connected Name Identification (QSIG-NA or SS-CNIP and SS-CONP) as defined by ECMA-163/164, ETS 300 237/238, ISO/IEC 13864/13868 and H.450.8; some callingName, calledName and connectedName operations

Call Deflection (QSIG-CF or SS-DIV) as defined by ECMA-173/174, ETS 300 256/257 and ISO/IEC 13872/13873 and H.450.3; divertingLegInformation2 operation only -
subset of fields processed (implemented for QSIG-AUDIX call diversion only)

Call Transfer (QSIG-CT or SS-CT) as defined by ECMA-177/178, ETS 300 260(Ed2)/261(Ed2), ISO/IEC 13865/13869 and H.450.2; callTransferIdentity and callTransferInitiate only

Call Hold (SS-HOLD) as defined by ETS 300 141 and H.450.4; remoteHold and remoteRetrieve only

Message Waiting Indication (QSIG-MWI or SS-MWI) as defined by ECMA-241/242, ETS 301 260/255, ISO/IEC 15505/15506 and H.450.7; mWIActivate/mWIDeactivate operations only - no optional fields processed

sizbut,

yes, Connected Name Identification (CONP) feature works. but the matter is that it's _connected_ name, not _dialed_ name. so when you dial a remote number, you won't see a presented name until the other side picked up the handset. for the dialed name presentation, pbx should know more of qsig than basic supplementary services, and ipoffice doesn't know it.
