Could somebody to help me? I have got 300 7912g ip phone installled, but 4 of those phones indicates transmit errors. Cabling is ok, because is verified with certification.
This kind of error appears only sometimes. I have changed those phones but they makes the same error.
What is transmit error and how can I fix it?

if you're replaced the phone, then its a cabling issues or a switch issue..

It can´t be a problem with the cabling because it was tested with FLUKE and it´s ok.
A switch issue? but why computers have any problem? And why most of the time works and sometimes fails?. I have changed the switch too, but it happens the same.

well if you've changed the switch, changed the phones, then its definately a cabling issue..

The cabling might be having some interference introduced into it. Have you replaced all the patch cables and such?

You've replaced all pieces of the puzzle except two.. If you replace the patch cables, then its the structured cabling itself.

Also have you just checked to make sure your duplex/speed settings are right?

I am sure that the cabling is ok, because it has been verified with the fluke cable tester.
How can I check duplex/speed settings? What must I do for check it?

go on your switch, and do a 'show run interface <type> <port #>'

then see what it says

if its saying like 'speed 100, duplex full' but then your phone is set for auto, that could be the issue there..

thanks I´ll probe it and then I´ll comment you the results.
;)

Does this problem happen whilst the phone is in use?

What happens if you swap connections on the switch and also the floor box? (Simple rejumper). That would be what I would be looking at if you can't find anything wrong.

Also when you did the fluke testing was the phone displaying the error? Obviously you need to test when the intermittant problem returns ;)

Also if the problem is not intermittant did you check the jumpering (pinouts) on the terminations?

I have proven it when the error were happening. I have tested all the cabling. I think that it´s a configuration error. I musst prove that BuckWeet has told me.
