Hi.

I am a beginner in Meridian World, and at this momment i am finding were i can to change the translation Table, because i need that an extension 229 change to External Line like Extension 000.

A friend told me that this issue is in LD 18 but when i see the ld 18 this doesn't exist, i saw the ld 20 PRT, Type: Pre and Cust: 0, but told me that the Cust, doesn't exist.

external to internal is ld 49 idc table.. the dcno has to be applied to the inbound route.. pretranstation is to change the translation of the digits that are send from the keypad.. ld 20 you can prt only..

ld 49
prt
idc
return

ld 21
prt
rdb

and look at the idc prompt, idc = yes then the day and night dcno table number..they can match.. you can use that two tables only if you have 2250 consoles..

John.

Thank You for the information, only one question, how can i change the ID for a call Internal to External? For example: I call from 229 to an external call, and i need that the Caller ID will be: 2350-0000 ?

At this momment if i call from 229 the caller ID in an external call is 2350-0229 and i need that this extension in special have a diferent ID.

Thank you in advance.

INTL
ENTRY 2
HNTN 000
HLCL 000
DIDN NO

Should work. Here is mine and when I assign "5" to a phone the outbound id is 000-000-0000. Might want to get rid of the zeros in HNTN and HLOC and change HLCL to 7 X zeros.

ENTRY 5
HNTN
ESA_HLCL
ESA_INHN NO
ESA_APDN YES
HLCL 0000000
DIDN NO
HLOC
LSC

one reason it may not work is your provider had to agree to look at that field.. i would ld 96 enl msgi x on my d to see what clid i was sending.. then you can call the provider. you should be sending clid table 2 with your setup
