Translating XML files using XSLT

Hi All,

I was planning on using the xslt functions to perform three translations on the same xml source file to populate three frames of a html webpage. It appears my System Administrator is not happy using a 'non-standard RPM release of PHP' and so this avenue has been close to me :-(.

Is there a practical alternative?
