having problem, New server has 2 network adapters with different network addresses.. 1 faces the Internet and 1 faces the work computers, Symantec wants to use the address facing the internet as the server address,I have tried editing grc.dat and the registry but it keeps on changing the server address to the internet facing 1.. any clients that it detects it detects them using the router address for them.. so all clients come in with the same ip address...

I.E network adapter that faces work computers is 192.168.0.4 and the ip address facing the DSL modem and the internet is 192.168.1.4.. symantec wants to use 192.168.1.4 for its address.. this gets to the dsl modem and it sees that to go to a work computer it needs to go through the router that is at 192.168.1.2... so all clients are seen as being address 192.168.1.2.. any ideas on how to have symantec only use the 192.168.0.4 address as the address it listens on?

Thanks for any help..

For some Reason it does have 2 client computers with their correct Ip addresses, but 2 without.. no rhyme or reason, since 1 of the 1's with correct ip is on an older client version of symantec and 1 is on recent version..
(10.1.6.6000 vs. 10.1.0.396)I am really considering switching from Symantec
