transition problem screens is greyed out

I am trying to make a transition of some kind when I go from one page to another.

I am using flash pro 8.

I select Window>Other Panels> and from here i should be able to continue to screens>transitions but Screens is greyed out.

Do I have to select something first. I have my page selected at the moment.

Unless your Flash movie is Slide Presentation, Window > Other Panels > Screens is greyed out.

Anyway, Screen > Transition is from Behaviours panel, not from the panel descried above.

In my Behaviours panel there is no Screens option, yes it should go Screens>Transitions but it's not there.

It's not there because your movie is not Slide Presentation.
