Hello,

What is the fastest and/or most efficient way to master C++ if one already knows SAS quite well? The two languages share many similarities, but are of course, very different. Any info will help. Thanks.

Since you know SAS, I assume you are familiar with the basics of loops, for statements, etc. Because of this, most beginner books/classes would probably not fit your needs. You may want to look at books or classes that are geared towards teaching programmers of other languages to moving into C++. The most popular is teaching C programmers C++. The problem is that some "minor" things like order precidence, variable naming, scope, etc may be different enough between SAS and C++ that you may struggle with them if you are taught the exact differences between the two. I'm not familar with SAS to advise you exactly how to proceed. Maybe someone else who is familar with SAS can give you some better advice.
