Transition Effect Over Live Sources

Hi,
I have made an application in which I am using 2 live sources, and using a switcher button I am switching the video to mix them.
But need to apply some sort of wipe or fade or some sort of other Transition effect as I switch Videos.
I have seen this in DES for Offline Videos but have no idea for Live ones.
Please let me know how to do it or some sort of documentation or sample.
