Transit Number in Laser Check Maint

Hi there,

I'm looking at the Laser Check Bank Maintenance and I'm seeing fields for account number, routing number, and transit number. From what I see in the setup of other companies, they place what they refer to as the routing/transit number in the TRANSIT number field and some other numbers like: 25-89/144 in the field for the ROUTING number.

Also, this company has spaces and symbols in their account number which appear to control the format of the account number when it prints on the check. How do I find out how my account number needs to be formated?

I'm trying to set up another company by mimicking the companies that are already set up - but I have no ideas what belongs in that TRANSIT field.

By the way, if anyone is curious, we just requested a Spec Sheet from the bank and that answered all of the above questions.
