Transformer Error

We are currently running cubes but they sometimes fail with the following message

FUNCTION run_windows_transformer:<"C:\Program Files\Cognos\cer2\bin\trnsfrmr.exe"
WARNING: (win32_system) exit code = <1>
FUNCTION GVCM_execute_command <TRANSFORMER> failed.

This stops the cube from building yet can manually transform cube.

Cognos PowerPlay Version 7.0.808.0
Cognos PowerPlay Transformer version 7.0.713.0-0

Any help as to what the error means or how to resolve would be much appreciated.

What system brings out that error message ? And how have you executed transformer in batch, which comman-line parameters ?
