Hi,
I have a model. In this model I have two dimensions: Company and Product Group.
I created cube and opened it with browser. Now when I select one of the companies and then when I want to choose product group, it gives me all product groups, not product groups of selected company.
Guys, do you know how can I get product groups belonged to selected company?

TRY: Check your IQD, IMR for the catalog (if you are using one) for the join and find out if there is an outer join on the product information table.

TRY: Does your raw data show all products for one company? If so, this is why.

new user... question: so, im my .mdl i have products in one dimension and a boatload of customers in another (we've had no naming conventions since..well.. forever). in powerplay, when i pull over a single date and the customer and the products they purchased, it's as if i'm getting every instance of the name ever used rather than the only one that was on the particular invoice for that day.

is there a way that i can have powerplay display only the name on the invoice for that day rather than every instance of the way that name was ever typed? i could use the customer #, however, we don't issue customer numbers on ship to accounts and we have multiple customer numbers per account. suppressing zeros doesn't work.

this is probably very simple but i thought i'd save some time and just ask.

I think this is normal behaviour as you have TWO dimensions. So if you want to add a second dimension it will display all categories and not the product groups for the selected company as there is no hierarchy between them. If you want this you should rebuild your model/iqd's.

Why doesn't surpress zeroes work? This only happened to me when I surpressed wrong (columns, not rows) or when some columns were hidden. If you only want the product groups for the selected company in this cube you should use surpress zeroes.
