Hi all,
I can build time dimension in Tranformer using date wizard.
The time dimesions are year, quarter, month... when you generate categories year would be 2005 and 2006, quarter would be Q1 2005, Q2 2005, Q3 2005 , Q4 2005, Q1 2006, Q2 2006, Q3 2006 , Q4 2006. If I need to create a crosstab report as following:

ProdA ProdB ProdC
2005 2006 2005 2006 2005 2006
Q1 Jan
Feb
Mar
Q2 Apr
May
Jun
July

How do I get common Q1, Q2... & Jan, Feb,.... so that I can group them in the final report?
If I create a seperate dimension for Quarter and Month, will I be able to add subtotal and grand total in Report Studio? Please advice.
I appreciate your help on this!!
Thank you
Swathi

Swathi,
Create alternate drilldowns to the Quarter and Month levels (one for each) in you r time dimension, then you can nest the "By Month" drilldown within "By Quarter" as rows without affecting the columns.
