hi there,

does anybody know, how i can create a measure, which counts items, without having them as a dimension in the model (just in the source-query)?

thanks,
claubert

Can you elaborate? What function would the measure perform if it isn't related to a dimension?

Thanks,

Adam.

all the measures in the cube are at the level of contract-subnumber. and the contract-subnumbers are grouped to contract-numbers.
due to the number of contract-subnumbers and -numbers i can't make a dimension out of it.
i can count the contract-subnumbers, without having the dimension, because there is one row each contract-sub-number in the source-query (iqd).
but how can i count the contract-numbers in the cube?

thanks,
claubert
