I am fairly new to Cognos, and I am trying to figure out a way that I can change a negative value from a calculated category into a zero.
With the data that we are using, we use a calculated category to derive a value based upon subtracting two values from a third. These values are dependant on another category. For example I have a category named Dist. Channel. There are three channels: Mass, Consumer, Other. A calculated category was created to subract Consumer and Other from Mass, to derive True Mass, however, since figures for sales dollars and units are projected on different levels, we sometimes get negative numbers. This is a general equation though that will give us dollars or units, depending upon which measure is used.
Is there any way that I can change negative numbers into zeroes in Transformer that come from a calculated category??
Thanks for your help!
