Hello,

I'm beginner. I have PowerPlay Transformer 7.0. I want to connect to Access database which is connected to SQL server with password.

When I'm connecting Transformer to table in the Access file (in fact this is a table in SQL Server) - Transformer asks me for the password to SQL Server and everything is ok.

But when I'm connecting to query in the same Access file Transformer don't ask for password and is not able to connect to the query. Any idea why?

Thank You in advence,
Wawrzyniec

I haven't ever tried connecting to SQL in that manner before, but check the connection info in the signons window.
Using Impromptu IQD files, this has always needed to be set in the model, no matter what logons are used during the creation of the IQD.

Don't mind me asking, but why not go against SQL Server directly?
