Does anyone else have the problem with the transformation
docker becoming unresponsive after a short while of usage?
Version 11 SA with Sp1 installed
Win98 SE
Various systems/processors tried, all the same.
I've been using this docker since version 5. I'm probably just used to it where I put it on my screen.
Has anyone else came across this bug or others in version 11? I've just recently started using it and haven't found many others.
BTW anyone tried using this application over citrix?
All the controls from that docker are in the property bar - I can't say I've had any issues with any docker being unresponsive. But have you tried the tools on the property bar? See if they work for you.
sorry for the delay to the last reply.
I've since tried to use the features within the property bar
and they are mostly similar except from the movement options (this displays the position of object x & y).
The problem with this is that alot of the work I do involves applying to duplicate at set distances from the last position so is time consuming trying to work out -17.5 mm from 111.7. I hope you can understand what I mean.
In the meantime the transformation docker is still screwing up. Tried all sorts of things ie. F8 while loading, vcache settings, memory settings, windows updates, reinstalling windows and/or corel 11-Nothing helps. Also small area of coruption appearing on the docker aswell, does this ring a bell with anyone?
Um, perhaps this is something you weren't aware of ... it's been in in all versions (I think, could be wrong) since at least v7...
In the property bar where your x/y coords show.. let's say mine are 1.846" x 0.873".. If I need to move something a specific amount - for example I need to move it .128" from the 1.846 mark, all I have to do is go to the setting for that coord and type in a + or - and the number needed. Corel will do the calculation and move the item for you. I know that's not what you're trying to do per se... but what if you just hit the + key on the keypad to duplicate the item on top of itself and then just enter your math in the property bar?
Was messing around with the property bar again after what you said and found "relevant to object" button.
This is what I had been looking for in this property bar.
(0's X & Y).
Thanks for your help btw.
I thought I might add that I found out what was causing the transformation docker to behave this way. Its when you click to import an image or file and click cancel instead of a file name, so it's certainly some sort of bug!
