Hi everyone,

I have a problem with a Step on a DTS where i would like to copy the content of a table from a tablespace to the same table on another tablespace.

I've tried with a Transform Data Task to make a "select" of the columns i want, then in the destination i chose the table of the destination tablespace.
On the transformations tab i've chosen "Select All" (the type is copy column).

I precise that i wrote the "select" from the source because there is a column which is not present on the destination, morever i checked the datatype from the source and the destination, the are identical... :(

The error message is "The number of failing rows exceeds the maximum specified...ORA-00972...Identifier is too long".

The two connections are "Other (ODBC Data Source)" (But they are Oracle connection)

If there someone that could help me...i don't have any idea of what to do...

Thanks.
