Im currently trying to automate the importing of a text file from a specific destination using the 'Transfertext' within a macro. When i go ahead and try to import the file it says the following
'the jet database cannot open the file. it is already opened exclusively by another user or you need permissions to views its data'
i can import manually the file but not by using this method. I have checked the permissions on the folder and the text file itself and there are no permission restrictions at all on the folders i'm trying to transfer.
have i missed something along the way here????
