Transferring to an outside sales office 5

My client wants to send answered calls at the recp. station to an outside sales office.

How can I set up a button on teh recp. station so all the recp. has to do it press the button and have the system LINK or transfer the calls to this other outside sales office in one easy step. Then hang up her set and allow the callers to continue to talk without her on the line.

If this is not possible unless the recp. stays on the line as if on a CONF call, then what about this idea:

Sprint does offer NV customers 3Way / Call Transfer as an unbundled service for $5.00 a month per line.

Now if I assign a button with a flash hook ( LINK ) in the string would that do the trick? The station user could then press the button and allow a supervised or unsupervised Call Transfer via maintained at the C/O.

Example:

Station user on C/O line with caller
Station user presses programable set key then system performs;

FLASH + PAUSE + DIAL LOCAL NUMBER

Station user hears ring and either hangs up to complete the
transfer for an unsupervised ( BLIND ) transfer or stays on the line to announce call then hangs up. A esperate FLASH or LINK button could be programmed to allow the station user the ability to introduce the callers to each other to make sure they are connected and talking before hanging up.

The set user could also use this FLASH button to transfer calls to variable number or to perfomr a 3 Way call without using another line for a CONF call.

What do you think aout that?

If so then my next question would be how do I program the
set button to perform this dialing seq.

So fro leaving that out. I have an 8X16.

just program the external speed dial as normal:
F*1
add f71
add number
hit OK
Pause (f78) may or may not be required

or program the speed dial
and program another button to be link- f71

Now I am new to working on these systems and I am learning pretty fast. Can I program this setting so the station user can press one of the button located at the top of the set? I believe there are three rows of 3 or 4 unmarked buttons.

I know you can transfer outside of the norstar system , when your recpt answer you can either have a speed dial key program with the sales number when recept answers the call press the speed dial key,you can either waite to announce or push the transfer button and release.
