Transferring to a forwarded phone

Hi Guys,

BCM 400, Ver 4.0, Phones T7316

I have a CEO of a company that has an immediate forward to his PA. The PA answers all of his calls including DDI/DID.

When someone would like to speak to the CEO the PA answers the call and then proceeds to transfer the call to the CEO.
If she doesn't announce the call and transfers it the caller immediately rings on her phone again.
If she announces the call to the CEO the transfer will work.
Is this how it is suppose to work on the BCM? I know on the Meridian it will work either way.

Any help would be appreciated.

If the announce works the blind transfer should work.She must have an answer DN.Try under feature settings to change the answer key programing to basic.
