alright, i have a program that changes text style in a selected portion of text in RichEdit1, and then transferrs the text to RichEdit2. now i know the text style doesnt transferr with it, but I need it to transfer and i've tried everything i know. the most i've gotten so far is for example: if 3 out of 10 characters in RichEdit1 are bold, and then I transfer the text, I have to make either all 10 characters bold or nothing bold. ANY help would be appreciated greatly, as im stuck on this project with nowhere to go.
on a second note: how do you 'view' which text is bold? is there a marking such as '\n'?

thanks alot, Cyprus Cyprus

Just a (kinda of stupid) hint, try savint the file in richtext format and then load it inot the other richeditbox... (most probably what I would do, untill I find another solution) My codes look like something a kid wrote
I have absolutely no idea what I am talking about
Somehow I still manage to make it work

LOL! thats exactly what i tried this morning. it worked, sloppy way of doing things, but as long as it gets the job done... Cyprus
