transferring onto tape

hello,

for about a week i have been working hard on editing a skateboard video with slo-mo, music, transitions......

I was very pleased with the job, but im having great trouble transferring the final project onto video tape (for the VCR).

I click: file> export> print to video> but it dosnt show up on the television.
(it does appear on the television though if i play a straight clip without slow-mo or transitions.)
