Transferring hyperlinks between booked publications 1

I have made a hyperlink to jump to the Contents page of a booked publication but can only have it work in the publication where the Contents page is. How do I make the link work from all publications in the book? I intennd to convert the book to a PDF file for use by others later.
 
Doffer: in my opinion and experience the hyperlinks
don´t work across files.
They work in one document only. There are two
solutions for PDF applications:
a) Make one document by copy and paste all pages.
Be sure to use correct masterpages initially.
b) Export to Postscript and make the links manually,
using an external Distiller. I didn´t try this, but it´s
recommended by others. Now, this suffers very much
from the fact, that the least change in the sources
requires a totally new setting in the Distiller.
