Anyone know if it's possible to upload a file to one web server (ie on a local network) which in turn transfers the file to an external webserver?

I need to pass a file from on machine to the next along with some form based data (ideally using the file input)

I wouldn't mind getting some sort of component to help if such a thing exists.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Graham.

Well Microsoft does make a couple of products that will utilize a CRS Service. (Content Replication Service). Site Server 3.0 will do it as well as Application Center. These both use CRS. a CRS Job is setup on the server that you upload the files to and will replicate given the criteria you set to another server. It is used for content deployment for mutiple environments such as a developement, staging and production servers.

Thanks for the info don't think I'd have got anywhere without it! It has lead me to investigate a windows port of a linux application (using cygwin) called rsync.

cwRsync looks like it may do what I need - comparison of files across any network by sending the differences between files :
(Linux API for windows - required for cwRsync)

It's also free.
