transferring data from report to new record

Hi

I have a report based on a query that shows all free beds within a specific period of time. When the free beds show up I would like each bed to have a button next to it. When pressed, I would like the database to go to the form where i write my reservations and automatically fill out the date fields (arrival and departure) and the bednr field. The form is two parts, the main form is called bed which hold the bednr field and the subform holds the date fields. The subform is part of the bed form.
