I am in the process of creating a spreadsheet in Powerpoint. The data in the spreadsheet will be used to create a bunch of charts located in their own seperate worksheet.

However, the spreadsheet is being created for non-techie users and as such I would like tp be able to create a button, which once clicked automatically, not only generates the charts but also transfers a copy of them to a Powerpoint slideshow. This process will be done at least once a month and is fairly repetitive.

I am not a VB programmer, but if anyone can think of a way to do it using VB then fine, I will be more than happy to accept the code.

Note that I have tried different methods such as recording mouse movements and keystrokes, but that fails more often than not and certainly does not transfer the charts correctly (there will be about 8 - 15 charts).

Any advice, information, answers! gratefully received.

Thanks.

You shouldn't need code.

The BEST solution for you is: when copying the charts into the presentation, hit Edit-Paste special-Paste link. Keep your charts on separate sheets from the data. When your users change the data, it should automatically update the charts, which should automatically update the presentations.

You may want to test this method with a sample file before you start changing your files around.
