Transferring calls via Auto answer 1

I am using a KX-TD1232 with PRI [16 channels. All phones are set to Auto answer. Reception presses key on console, called party hears voice and can answer without any action - as expected. When an external call is answered at reception and transfer is pressed, then extension button on console, the extension rings rather than Auto answer. Pressing * key at reception allows reception to talk to extension but extension cannot be heard. Any suggestions welcome

 
On a 1232 Auto Ans only works on internal calls( not with Transfer)
Best solution would be to hold the call at reception,call the Extn and tell them which line to pick up
 
I understand that the manual says it will not with for incoming calls however it worked when on stanfdard analogue lines and the customer is used to that.

 
Sorry, there is no way to program a 1232 of that config to auto ans on a CO call.
The TDA sys will do it.
