I am working with a Call Pilot 100 ver 2.0 software and am trying the program the system to transfer to an external number using a CCR tree. For example, when you push 1, the Call Pilot should flash the line, dial an external number and release the call. I do have call transfer feature from the Telco and it does work on the phone system (CICS ver. 6.1 software) so when you push Link and dial an external number and release the call gets transferred. This is what I am trying to get the Call Pilot to do. I have already set up a CCR tree that grabs a line in the line pool and does this but it is taking up 2 tel. lines and the customer only has 3 lines. Can this be done? Thanks for any help.

if your saying when you call from externally into the system and press one to transfer to an outside line. Than yes this will take two lines. The call comes in on one line and goes out on the other.

Have the voice mail Link the CO with F71 before the number.

you need to add a # before the transfer #
eg
path 1
transfer EXT
if teh number is 5551212 store #5551212 and save the tree

see pages 73 and 75 of teh cp telephone admin guide

I did not know about that link transfer feature. Pretty cool. You may have to ask your provider if your lines support link transfer.

it works ONLY on centrex lines with link transfer capability

some lecs let you get the feature on an as-needed basis, just like call waiting or 3-way calling

Thanks senk1s, it works perfect. We had a feature called call transfer added from the local provider that allows this to happen. Davey.
