We had a crisis, RAM failure on our live machine.
We transferred all drives, RAID 10, to our Recovery
server. We got the MSSQL Server 7.0 software working
again on the new machine. Disk access is fine.
Enterprise manager works.

WE ARE UNABLE TO START THE MSSQLMANAGER OR THE SQL AGENT NO MATTER WHAT WE DO.

Can anyone please help?

what happens when you try to start them. Is there anything in the nt app log? what error messages do you get?

Also, are there any errors in the SQL Server Error log? In Enterprise Manager, drill down to Management, the logs are there.
